MEZAVA TERMS OF SERVICE
OVERVIEW
Welcome to Mezava! The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Mezava LLC, operating as Mezava. We operate this website and store, including its related information, content, features, tools, products, and services (the “Services”). Our store is powered by Shopify.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”), together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy, describe the terms governing your use of our Services.
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
SECTION 1 — ACCESS AND ACCOUNT
To place an order, you must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement or act with the authorization and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete account, billing, payment, and shipping information. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and notifying us if you believe your account has been used without authorization.
You may not impersonate another person or use payment information without authorization.
SECTION 2 — OUR PRODUCTS
Mezava sells refrigerated, perishable food products. Please review the product description, ingredients, allergen information, net weight, and storage instructions before purchasing or consuming a product.
Classic Hummus contains sesame; Cacık contains milk; Smoky Babaganoush contains milk, sesame and egg; Muhammara contains walnuts (tree nuts). Customers with food allergies should review the package label and contact us with any questions before ordering.
Product photographs are illustrative. Packaging and natural variations in color or texture may differ, but this does not alter the product description, stated quantity, ingredients, or net weight applicable to your purchase.
Our dips must remain refrigerated. The stated refrigerated shelf life is five days from production, including time in transit. Follow the handwritten use-by date on each jar.
We may update our products, availability, and descriptions for future purchases. Changes do not retroactively alter an accepted order without your agreement, except where cancellation is necessary and a refund is provided.
SECTION 3 — ORDERS AND CANCELLATIONS
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. An automated order-received email acknowledges receipt of your order and does not by itself guarantee acceptance or fulfillment.
We may decline or cancel an order because of unavailable inventory, payment problems, suspected fraud, delivery restrictions, pricing errors, or another legitimate reason. We will notify you using the contact information provided.
If we decline or cancel an order after collecting payment, we will refund the amount paid for the canceled items and any applicable shipping charges.
You may cancel for a full refund before preparation begins by emailing support@mezava.store with your order number. Once preparation begins, we cannot guarantee cancellation.
Orders must contain 2–4 jars in total; packs can be combined within that limit. Purchases are intended for personal or household use. Contact us before ordering for resale.
Returns, replacements, and refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, without limiting your rights under applicable law.
SECTION 4 — PRICES AND BILLING
Prices are displayed in United States dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable shipping charges and taxes are shown at checkout before you submit your order.
Prices, discounts, and promotions may change for future orders. The price applicable to your purchase is the price presented when you place the order, subject to the error and cancellation provisions in these Terms.
You agree to use an authorized payment method and provide accurate billing information. Any separate promotional conditions will be disclosed with the promotion.
SECTION 5 — SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
We ship across the United States where an eligible next-business-day carrier service is available. Availability and charges depend on your delivery address and appear at checkout.
Please allow an estimated 4–5 days for preparation before dispatch. We ship Monday through Thursday, excluding carrier holidays. Weekends and holidays can affect the dispatch date.
Dips are made and packed on the day of dispatch. Preparation time is separate from transit time.
Choose an eligible UPS or FedEx next-business-day service offered at checkout. Shipping is charged separately and calculated at checkout. Next-business-day shipping refers to scheduled carrier transit after dispatch, not the day after an order is placed. Carrier disruptions may cause delays.
Please provide a complete delivery address and arrange to receive and refrigerate your order promptly.
If your order is lost, damaged, incorrect, or arrives in an unacceptable condition, contact support@mezava.store. Handing an order to the carrier does not remove our obligations under our Refund Policy or applicable law.

SECTION 6 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Mezava name, logo, website design, original text, images, and other content are owned by Mezava or used with permission, except where otherwise identified. They are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may access and use our website for personal shopping and other lawful purposes. You may not commercially reproduce, distribute, modify, or exploit our content without permission, except as permitted by law.
Shopify’s name and trademarks belong to Shopify. Other third-party names and materials belong to their respective owners.
SECTION 7 — OPTIONAL TOOLS
Our Services may include tools or features provided by third parties. Those tools may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
We do not control every aspect of third-party tools. Nothing in this section removes any responsibility we have under applicable law for tools or services we provide.
SECTION 8 — THIRD-PARTY LINKS
Our website may link to third-party websites. A link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement.
Third-party websites have their own terms, practices, and privacy policies. Please review them before providing information or making a purchase. We do not control the content or operation of independent third-party websites.
SECTION 9 — RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
Mezava is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, any sales and purchases you make in our Store are made directly with Mezava. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sales between you and Mezava, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products and services. You hereby expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with Mezava.
SECTION 10 — PRIVACY POLICY
Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.
Because Shopify hosts our store, Shopify also processes personal information to operate and improve its services. Certain information may be subject to Shopify’s Privacy Policy.
Information may be processed by Shopify and other service providers in countries other than your own, as described in the applicable privacy policies.
SECTION 11 — REVIEWS AND FEEDBACK
You may submit reviews, suggestions, and other feedback. Your submissions must be truthful, lawful, and based on your own experience where applicable. You must disclose any incentive or compensation connected with a review.
For content you submit for public display, such as a product review, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and share that content in connection with operating and promoting Mezava. We will not alter a review in a way that misrepresents its meaning.
Private support messages are not treated as permission to publish your personal information or use your message as a testimonial.
You must have the necessary rights to content you submit. We may remove spam, unlawful content, personal information, or content that infringes another person’s rights. We will not remove a review solely because it expresses a negative opinion.
SECTION 12 — ERRORS, INACCURACIES, AND OMISSIONS
We work to keep our website accurate, but errors may occur in pricing, product information, promotions, availability, or shipping details.
If an error affects your order, we will contact you to explain the issue. We will not charge an increased price without your agreement. If an affected order is canceled, any payment collected for it will be refunded.
SECTION 13 — PROHIBITED USES
You may not use the Services to:

We may limit automated access to protect customers, inventory, and the operation of our Services.
SECTION 15 — TERMINATION
You may stop using the Services at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, unlawful activity, or a security risk.
Termination does not remove obligations relating to an existing order, an approved refund, or rights arising under applicable law. Provisions that reasonably need to continue after termination will remain effective.
SECTION 16 — WARRANTIES AND CONSUMER RIGHTS
We do not guarantee that access to our website will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits warranties, consumer protections, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Descriptions, storage instructions, and other commitments we make about our products remain subject to applicable law.
SECTION 17 — LIABILITY
Our responsibility for our products and Services is determined by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, or removes your rights concerning defective, unsafe, damaged, or incorrectly supplied products.
Our Refund Policy does not replace your statutory rights. If another provision of these Terms conflicts with a consumer protection that cannot legally be waived, that protection controls.
SECTION 18 — RESPONSIBILITY FOR MISUSE
You are responsible, to the extent provided by applicable law, for harm caused by your unlawful use of the Services, fraudulent conduct, or infringement of another person’s rights.
This section does not make you responsible for harm caused by Mezava, defective products, or circumstances for which responsibility cannot legally be transferred to you.
SECTION 19 — SEVERABILITY
If a provision of these Terms is found unlawful or unenforceable, it will apply only to the extent permitted by law, or be removed if necessary. The remaining provisions will continue to apply.
SECTION 20 — WAIVER AND ENTIRE AGREEMENT
Our failure to enforce a provision immediately does not waive our right to enforce it later.
These Terms and the policies incorporated into them form the agreement governing your use of the Services. They do not override product descriptions, order-specific commitments, or rights protected by law.
If these Terms conflict with our stated cancellation, refund, or shipping commitments for your order, those specific commitments apply, subject to applicable law.
SECTION 21 — ASSIGNMENT
You may not transfer your account or contractual obligations to another person without our permission.
We may transfer these Terms as part of a business reorganization or transfer, provided that doing so does not reduce your rights concerning existing orders or under applicable law.
SECTION 22 — GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and applicable United States federal law.
Nothing in these Terms deprives consumers of protections, remedies, or rights that apply by law.

We may update these Terms as our business or Services change. Updated Terms will be posted on this page, and we will provide notice of material changes where required by law.
Changes apply prospectively and do not retroactively reduce your rights concerning an order already placed.
